      Cooking instructions: Servings: 1 Water (or milk) (For thicker oatmeal, use less liquid For thinner oatmeal, add more water): 3/4 cup Oats: 1/4 cup salt (optional); dash Servings: 2 Water (or milk) (For thicker oatmeal, use less liquid For thinner oatmeal, add more water): 1 1/2 cups Oats: 1/2 cup Salt (optional): 1/8 tsp Servings: 6 Water (or milk) (For thicker oatmeal, use less liquid For thinner oatmeal, add more water): 3 cups Oats: 1 cup Salt (optional): 1/4 tsp Stove Top Directions: 1. Bring water (or milk) and salt to a boil. Stir in Whole Grain Steel Cut Oats. 2. Reduce heat to low. Simmer uncovered for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring regularly. 3. Remove from heat and let stand for I minute before serving. Microwave: 1. Add 3/4 cup of boiling water to 1/4 cup Whole Grain Steel Cut Oats and dash of salt in a deep microwave-safe dish (leaving room for the oats to expand during coding). 2. Cook on HIGH for 3 minutes, stir and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Remove from microwave and allow to stand for 1 minute before serving. Since microwave ovens vary in power, these are guidelines only.
